The In-Between Season This past month hasn’t been loud or wildly adventurous in the way people might expect from us—but it’s been full in a different way. The kind of full that doesn’t always photograph well, but matters just as much. We’re still working through PopPop’s medical appointments, taking things one step at a time, one visit at a time. It’s been a season of patience more than movement… but underneath it, there’s this quiet momentum building. Because we can feel it—
April felt like a deep breath we didn’t realize we needed. We spent part of the month down south in Orlando celebrating PopPop’s birthday—surrounded by family, stories, and moments that slow you down in the best way. Getting to spend time with his dad (and mine too) grounded us in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve been living a little wild and fast like we have. In the middle of it all, we got to reconnect with a close friend who showed us around Orlando like locals—
